Rogers Communications has launched its LTE network in Calgary

Rogers Communications has launched its LTE network in Calgary, AB and Halifax, NS. With this expansion, Rogers LTE is now available to nearly 12 million Canadians.
The Rogers LTE network offers mobile speeds that are similar to broadband connections. Speeds usually range between 12-25 Mbps, however, 100 Mbps speeds can theoretically be reached as well.
Last summer, the carrier first unveiled its LTE network in Ottawa, ON, before expanding into Toronto, ON, Montreal, QC and Vancouver, BC.
Rogers introduced its LTE network in St. John's, NL in February.
