What better day for CJFE to launch our annual Review of Freedom of Expression in Canada – highlighting both Canada’s freedom of expression achievements and failures over the last year? CJFE is calling on you to help spread the message, and help us share the Review across the country. As Canadians, it is our obligation to protect our right to freedom of expression and ensure this right is upheld.

Rogers Communications has launched its LTE network in Calgary

Rogers Communications has launched its LTE network in Calgary, AB and Halifax, NS. With this expansion, Rogers LTE is now available to nearly 12 million Canadians.
The Rogers LTE network offers mobile speeds that are similar to broadband connections. Speeds usually range between 12-25 Mbps, however, 100 Mbps speeds can theoretically be reached as well.
Last summer, the carrier first unveiled its LTE network in Ottawa, ON, before expanding into Toronto, ON, Montreal, QC and Vancouver, BC.
Rogers introduced its LTE network in St. John's, NL in February.
