"High profile international events like the 2012 World League help to elevate the profile of high performance sport in Canada. They also highlight the achievements of our awesome Canadian athletes," said Canadian Olympic Committee Chief Marketing Officer Derek Kent. "There is no better way to celebrate this than by bringing the best club teams from across Canada together and, at the same time, the best international men's teams for the World League."

The prestigious international volleyball tournament will see the Canadian national men's team host Brazil, Poland and Finland May 18-20 at Ricoh Centre in Toronto. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster, the Ricoh Coliseum and Air Canada Centre box offices and by phone at 1-855-985-5000.
Surrounding the event will be the 2012 Canadian Open Volleyball Championships, May 17-22, featuring close to 700 teams in 12 categories vying for six national championships. For more information, visit www.volleyball.ca
